“Celebrating China’s great inventions”
A complex of 4 Chinese venues in one, the Chinese National redefines a modern
approach to the cuisine. The overall concept is based on the four great
inventions of China and consists of Iron Needle, a dumpling and noodle shop;
Letterpress, a tea house by day and cocktail bar by night; Black Powder Red,
a Szechuan restaurant; and Paper Duck, a Cantonese roast duck venue. The
dseign off all areas share a similar language, but not unlike the languages of
China, each space takes on its own visual dialect.
